Wiki - Overview

What is a Wiki? A Wiki provides a shared information space where defined users may collaborate on content as contributors and editors. No matter which role one my perform, the ability to add , edit , and remove the content provide for a true collaborative effort. It is possible to DELETE! The goal is to provide accurate information to the community and provide information that will allow people to start conversations and problem solve through technology.

This Wiki is initially designed to capture a registry of research projects in Florida. The training for this site is "on the job", "on the fly". We hope you find the site inituitive. If not, please feel free to provide feedback on how we can improve this functionality. By clicking on the adding comment icon, an editor will open and the author will start adding or editing content. There is a check box to allow for additional comments and we recommend that you choose this feature to allow outsiders to provide information without editing the original content. We also suggest embedding web links were necessary to other sites and bring in appropriate content as necessary.

Tagging! What is this? Tagging supports a powerful Web 2.0 feature of linking information together through user defined tags. As you write your article, think of those key words that summarize your content and put these one word descriptions as a list in the box.
